I’m lovin’ angels…

As a therapist working with trauma, childhood adversity and the life long impact of how we are parented, I’m now even more able to help people as a counsellor. Knowing how ‘the body keeps the score’ as van der Kolk refers to it as, has enhanced my understanding of what I call ‘trapped trauma.

Meet one of my angels…

Ron de Brito

I met up with this beautiful soul in person last week for the first time.

I’ve been working with Ron for several months now and the bond already was incredible.

Meeting in person was something else all together. I cried and embraced Ron; words weren’t present.

Ron is one of my angels. By this I mean, she has touched my soul. She has been gentle, encouraging and let me be vulnerable.

As one of my coaches, I’ve learnt so much about connecting with my body from my work with Ron.

I’ve learnt more about how to release trauma, how to understand the messages in the body and added to my Psychotherapy practice.

My self work and personal growth continues. I keep on learning and working on increasing my knowledge and understanding. I am dedicated to never standing still. There’s always more I want to experience and know. It’s my commitment to my client work too.

Connecting with the Earth has been one aspect of our work.

As an embodiment coach, Ron works with my nervous system, wordless parts of my being. The work is powerful. I’m so grateful to Ron.

Healing happens within empathic connection, with a Space to just be and is multifaceted. Every small step adds up.

Thank you Ron de Brito, my embodiment angel.
